Matchmaker Scarlett Is Ready to Hit the Streets

STREETMATE was the loud-mouthed, bolshy dating show that shot Davina McCall to fame in the late 1990s. Davina bounded around various towns like a hyperactive puppy, grabbing unsuspecting shoppers to try to match them up with a date. A bit like Blind Date on the road. We then caught up with couples later to see how they got on.

It became a bit of a cult hit, with a brief return on ITV2 in 2007 with Holly Willoughby. But it was only after a special last year that Channel 4 bosses decided to bring it back, with Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffat at the helm.

It's the perfect job for her. She's friendly, bold, not afraid to say what she thinks, and actually quite funny.

We've all heard her oneliners, such as this gem from I'm A Celebrity...: "Croc feet, I've never cooked anything I could high five."
