PEP Guardiola was left infuriated with referee Robert Madley after Kyle Walker was sent off on his home debut for City.

But the Catalan avoided any threat of FA punishment by refusing to lay into the official.

Guardiola would not talk about the incident afterwards - despite his frustration being clear to see after Walker was dismissed for two bookable offences during City's 1-1 draw against Everton last night. The £45m defender was sent off just before half-time when he was adjudged to have elbowed Toffees forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
