WHEN Jose Mourinho brought Didier Drogba back to Chelsea in 2014, he claimed it was a decision he made with his head rather than his heart, as he gushed about re-signing 'one of the best strikers in Europe' The 36-year-old's return to Stamford Bridge effectively sounded the death knell on Romelu Lukaku's time at the club following Diego Costa's big-money arrival.

Oh, how things have changed. Drogba may have lost a yard, or three, but he made a valuable contribution as Chelsea went on to reclaim the title nine months later with goals against Leicester, Tottenham and United.

The parallels with Zlatan Ibrahimovic are stark but, unlike Drogba, the 35-year-old really has some unfinished business to attend to as he looks to win that first Premier League title.
