The National Trust has a mass of mazes at its properties across the UK, so you can lose your way among laurel bushes or be puzzled in a rhododendron forest. Here are some of the most baffling mazes you can explore: BASILDON PARK, BERKSHIRE: THE mini maze at Basildon Park was made by staff especially for youngsters. So after exploring the house, which starred in ITV's Downton Abbey as the Crawley family's London residence, head outside to the gardens.
