Greitens Touts St. Peters Company's Expansion Plans

St. Peters-based aerospace company Seyer Industries plans to add 125 jobs over the next several years.

The announcement was made after Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens visited Seyer's facilities near Interstate 70 and Highway 370. The business, founded in 1957, is a defense contractor and does assembly work for the aerospace and maritime industries.

According to an announcement from Greitens' office, Seyer says it has already expanded by 100 employees in the last 18 months and plans to add 70,000 square feet of space to its existing 120,000-square-feet plant. It plans to add another 25 to 30 jobs per year for five years.

The state is offering $2.6 million through the Missouri Works program if the company hits job creation targets and $168,750 in Missouri Works Training funds.
