PEP Guardiola has responded to claims City are flouting Financial Fair Play rules.

La Liga president Javier Tebas claimed this week that the Blues and Paris Saint-Germain were 'peeing in the pool' regarding Uefa guidelines on spending.

City, who spent more than £200m on new recruits this summer, have threatened legal action following the accusations, while CEO Ferran Soriano met with Tebas on Thursday.

After recouping more than £90m in sales, City insist they have no issues with FFP. Addressing Tebas, Guardiola said: "He spoke with Ferran. Ferran clarified why Uefa don't investigate City because we are in a good position.

"Ferran knows more than me. They worked together. I am sure Javier Tebas had some doubts, he was able to talk with him. …
