Elisabeth Moss set to resume work on 'Handmaid's Tale'

TORONTO - Emmy-nominee Elisabeth Moss says keeping up with her own busy schedule prevents her from getting sucked into the dark world of "The Handmaid's Tale."

The actress, who's at the Toronto International Film Festival this week with the Swedish film "The Square," says she isn't preoccupied with preparations for the second season of the series, based on Margaret Atwood's totalitarian novel.

"I love the work and I take the work seriously but I don't take myself seriously," Moss says with a big smile while sipping a smoothie.

"I'm just not one of those people who has time to get into my own head and make a big deal out of it. (I don't) need to go into a dark corner and think about my dead dog so I can cry. …
