Mystery of Dad Found Dead in Empty Building

MYSTERY surrounds the death of a dad-of-seven whose body was discovered inside a derelict building in Manchester city centre after he travelled 100 miles from the West Midlands.

Robert Paul Pritchard left his Coventry home on Sunday evening. He was found dead inside a disused property on York Street, in Manchester city centre, early on Monday morning.

The 36-year-old's family and friends have no idea why he travelled to the city. They are baffled by his death and are searching for the answers to 'so many unexplained questions.' .

Mr Pritchard, who leaves behind seven children, worked as a carpenter.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Pritchard's death, but the cause has not been revealed. A file has been passed to the coroner.

Speaking about her family's heartbreak, his sister Claire said: "He was kind-hearted and always had a smile on his face. He would do anything for anyone. He was one of about nine of us, so had a big family.

"He grew up in the Stoke Aldermoor community, where we are all a family. …
