VALLEYVIEW, Alta. - A Catholic school division in northwestern Alberta says it's shocked and saddened one of its employees was a victim of a mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Jessica Klymchuk was among nearly 60 killed by a gunman who opened fire on a crowd of thousands at an outdoor country music festival Sunday night.

More than 500 people were injured in what has been called the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

The Holy Family Catholic Regional Division says Klymchuk was an educational assistant, librarian and bus driver for St. Stephen School in Valleyview, Alta.

Media reports say the 28-year-old mother of four was visiting Las Vegas with her fiance.

Superintendent Betty Turpin says in a statement that crisis support is being offered as long as needed. …
