APPLE'S FREE CODING SESSIONS APPLE has announced it's offering hundreds of free learn-to-code sessions at its retail stores all across Europe as part of the EU Code week, which runs until October 22.

You can sign up to one of the coding lessons as part of the Today at Apple in-store learning programme.

The lessons are aimed at helping anyone interested in getting into coding get a start with Apple's own coding language Swift - which is used to build IOS apps.

And the free lessons are not just for Code Week, but run all year round.

"We believe coding is the language Apple's Swift Playground app is free of the future that everyone should have the chance to learn," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO. "We've built a range of innovative and free tools to make sure coding is fun and accessible to everyone. …
