NFL Notes: Beasley Returning to Lineup for Falcons

Outside linebacker Vic Beasley Jr. will be back on the field Sunday for the Atlanta Falcons after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

The NFL's 2016 sack leader was injured in a Week 2 victory over Green Bay.

Beasley missed a victory at Detroit and a home loss to Buffalo. After a bye week, he returned to practice on a limited basis this week.

Selected eighth overall in the 2015 draft after back-to-back All-America seasons at Clemson, the 25-year-old Beasley led the NFL with 15.5 sacks in his second season. Before his injury, he had a pair of sacks and forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown.

Right tackle Ryan Schraeder also will return to the lineup after missing two games with a concussion as the Falcons (3-1) host the Miami Dolphins (2-2) on Sunday.

With receiver Mohamed Sanu sidelined by a hamstring injury, the Falcons also promoted receiver Marvin Hall to the active roster Saturday and waived running back Brian Hill.

Hill, a 21-year-old who starred at Belleville West High, was the Falcons' fifth-round pick out of Wyoming this year. He rushed for 4,287 yards and scored 35 touchdowns in three seasons for the Cowboys and had 46 yards on 21 carries before suffering an ankle injury in the preseason.

Chiefs' WR Conley to IR * Kansas City placed Chris Conley on injured reserve with a ruptured Achilles' tendon Saturday and elevated fellow receiver Marcus Kemp from the practice squad to the active roster.

Kansas City also changed receiver Albert Wilson's status for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh to questionable. Wilson was not listed on the final injury report after dealing with knee pain this week.

Conley, a third-year pro with 11 catches for 175 yards this season, was injured last Sunday night in Houston, but the Chiefs were considering their options before making the move to put him on IR. …
