HYDE UNITED are through to the first round proper of the FA Cup after a 2-0 win at Scarborough Athletic in the fourth qualifying round.

Goals from Luke Porritt and Matthew Beadle were enough to earn the Evo-Stik North side the victory.

They'll be joined in the next round by MACCLESFIELD TOWN, who continued their good run of form with a 5-0 win at Stourbridge.

Danny Whitehead, Tyrone Marsh, Elliott Durrell, Koby Arthur and Scott Burgess all got on the scoresheet for the Silkmen.

FC UNITED are out of the competition though after suffering a 3-1 loss at AFC Telford United.

The hosts went ahead when Marcus Dinanga scored on 51 minutes, but FC United equalised through Craig Lindfield.
