Police: Missing Tonganoxie Girls Could Be 'In Danger'

Tonganoxie police have identified a person of interest in connection with their search for three sisters who ran away from their Tonganoxie foster home 51 days ago, the department announced Monday.

In a post on Facebook, the Tonganoxie Police Department identified Rigoberto "Rico" Reyes Rangel as a person of interest. The post says the girls have been seen in the Kansas City, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo., area.

"If they are with Rico, we believe they are in danger," the post says.

The post encourages anyone with information on Rangel or the girls' location to contact the police department. It says Rangel is male, 5'4" and about 150 pounds.

Emily, Aimee and Christin Utter's disappearance was the subject of scrutiny during a state child welfare task force meeting about whether the Department for Children and Families is adequately tracking missing children. …
