Old Woman Waits Two Hours for Ambulance after Fall

AN elderly woman was left lying on concrete for about TWO HOURS waiting for an ambulance.

The pensioner, in her 70s, fell at Tatton Park on Sunday afternoon.

She became tangled in dog leads and was seen to be 'distressed' having suffered a hip injury.

A witness said: "I was in the cafe at about 3pm when the woman fell. She hurt the side of her body, leg and hand. You could see she was in a lot of pain. Staff at the park were quick to come and help. An ambulance was called, but it took over two hours to get there.

"We actually left the cafe and walked around the park and then as we walked past two hours later the ambulance was only just arriving, at about 5.30pm. She had been on the concrete for all that time. It's really worrying. You could see was distressed. …
