LEIGH are continuing preparations for life in the Kingstone Press Championship with the addition of three young players - all with Super League experience.

Jack Owens will link up once more with Centurions' head of rugby Keiron Cunningham at Leigh Sports Village. The Widnes academy product joined St Helens ahead of the 2016 season, but completed the second half of the season on loan at Sheffield Eagles.

"He is an adaptable and quality back who has a burning desire to achieve many more things in his career," said Leigh coach Neil Jukes. "While Jack has played well in many positions for his respective clubs, he is coming here to stake his claim for his own spot. His stats at such a young age speak for themselves and to score the tries he has and kick the goals is no fluke. …
