OCULUS GO WHAT'S wrong with Virtual Reality? Well, many of the problems lie in the thing you have to wear on your head to make it work - VR headsets are heavy, hot, and uncomfortable. And they're quite restrictive, too - you have to have them plugged in to some quite heavy duty hardware, like a powerful PC or a PS4, for them to work.

It's incredible technology, to be sure - immersive worlds can be created, and the potential for education is enormous. But not until the thing is more comfortable to use. And a lot cheaper.

Maybe that's why the Oculus Go exists. Or rather, will exist.

You know Oculus - the crowd-funded VR company that Facebook bought.

Last year it finally completed its first fully-fledged VR system, the Oculus Rift.

It's about as good as the technology will currently allow, but certainly suffers from the familiar issues - you just can't use it for a long time without it getting uncomfortable. …
