WINNIPEG. x-13s. There was more emotional testimony today at the national inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women. Bernice Catcheway (CATCH'-ah-way) talked about the 2008 disappearance of her daughter, Jennifer, near Grand Rapids, Manitoba. Catcheway says the RCMP did not take the case seriously at first, were slow to investigate, and initially told her Jennifer was probably out drinking.

TAG: The inquiry is concluding five days of hearings in Winnipeg, and has added three days of hearings in Norway House, Manitoba in the second week of November.
