KEITH Hill insists there is still work to be done in turning around Rochdale's season - but he's confident Saturday's win against Bristol Rovers can provide a springboard for his side.

Matt Done's early goal proved the difference between Dale and the Pirates at the Crown Oil Arena, with Hill's men riding their luck at times in keeping a clean sheet.

But with the result in the bag, the Dale boss is hopeful his squad can take confidence from the win and kick-start their campaign, starting with Saturday's trip to Plymouth.

"In my psychology, in my time at this club, it was a crisis and it still is," he said.

"One swallow doesn't make a summer.

"But, if you take my time out of the history of this club, with all due respect, there's not much of a history.
