CITY and United have avoided each other in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup - but both have been drawn away.

The Blues, who booked their place in the last eight with a penalty shoot-out win over Wolves at the Etihad on Tuesday night, will face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

It is another away tie for Pep Guardiola, with the fourthround victory still the only home domestic cup tie he has been involved in during his reign at the Etihad.

The Foxes defeated Leeds United 3-1 on their road to the quarters with Claude Puel confirmed as their new manager earlier this week.

The tie will also see the Blues come up against their former striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who left the Etihad in the summer.

Holders United, meanwhile, will travel to Bristol City, who are the only Championship side left in the competition. …
