P08 - (Morneau-Ethics) OTTAWA. x-19s. Finance Minister Bill Morneau says he'll donate to charity all the money he's pocketed as a result of any increase in the value of shares in his family business since he was elected two years ago. Morneau wants to close the door on opposition accusations that he's personally profited from some of the decisions he's taken as finance minister. Reporters asked Morneau why he decided to take this additional step. ("..in that work.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)

TAG: Morneau has already said he will sell off the roughly one million shares he holds in Morneau Shepell, which are worth an estimated 21-million dollars. He's also putting other assets into a blind trust.
