HALIFAX. x-16s. Halifax police don't appear ready to give up on the notion that holding an event where people can voluntarily surrender on outstanding warrants for minor non-violent offences is a good idea. Inspector Don Moser says while police are disappointed no one showed up at a community centre in Spryfield last Saturday, the force is still in the exploratory stages of an initiative thought to be the first of its kind in Canada.
