VICTORIA. x-13. Indigenous leaders have joined human rights groups and environmentalists to call on B-C's government to cancel the Site C mega project. An independent report has concluded the hydroelectric dam is over budget and behind schedule. Grand Chief Stewart Phillip of the Union of B-C Indian Chiefs says Site C should never have been approved by the former Liberal government.
