MARCUS Rashford would have given United an early lead against Chelsea if he just concentrated and kept his eyes open when presented with a free header, according to Gary Neville.

The 20-year-old had one of the best chances of the game inside eight minutes when Ashley Young's looping cross found him unmarked at the back post.

But, with the imposing 6ft 6in Thibaut Courtois rushing out from his line to try and put the Wythenshawe lad off, Rashford could not steer his effort on target.

And Neville felt he should have done better.

"Oh, Marcus," he said in commentary for Sky Sports.

"You've closed your eyes, because you've thought the keeper is coming to hit you. If he just concentrates, doesn't worry about the goalkeeper, he scores. …
