Enterprise's brands locked in the top three spots for customer satisfaction in the annual survey.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which scored 851 in the survey, came in first place. National was second, with a score of 846. Alamo was third, with a 828 score.

All three Enterprise brands scored above the industry average of 826 on a 1,000-point scale.

Other rental car companies came in below average: Hertz was fourth, with a score of 822; Avis, fifth, 818; Budget, sixth, 809; Dollar, seventh, 807; and Thrifty, eighth, 795.
