SLIPPERY ROCK QUARTERBACK FINISHES NO. 1 IN PASSING YARDAGE

Tanner Garry played one season with the Slippery Rock University football team, and it was a season to remember. Slippery Rock played its final game Saturday and Garry finished No. 1 in the country for passing yardage in NCAA DIvision II. Garry, a Fort Cherry graduate who transferred from Youngstown State, had 3,522 yards in 11 games. He set a number of school records, including touchdown passes (32).
