On any light and bright morning

in the always-open chapel,

take a seat or kneel if you like.

You'll see floating stained-glass windows

in St. Mary of the Mount Church.

I proclaim it a miracle.

Of course the 3-D windows hang

right behind you when you're seated

in Mickey Kreuger's mini-pew

in front of the thick glass window.

Yeah, Mickey made the wood altar

for Mass, too. It looks authentic.

Each grain in the wood moves upward.

Each screw slot points to heaven, too.

It sits right and real in front of

that wild, tall, white wooden altar

holding a carved cross, three Marys:

Two: The only perfect woman.

Three: a sweet, reformed prostitute.

A certain comfort for sinners.

An outrage for the blue-nosers. …
