BRANDON, Man. - Stelio Mattheos had two goals and an assist while Cole Reinhardt added a goal and two helpers as the Brandon Wheat Kings extended their win streak to five games by downing the Swift Current Broncos 7-3 on Sunday in Western Hockey League play.

Ty Lewis, Connor Gutenberg, Zach Wytinck and Evan Weinger also scored for the Wheat Kings (14-6-1), who trailed 3-2 in the second period before reeling off five unanswered goals.

Tyler Steenbergen scored his league-leading 31st goal in just 21 games for the Broncos (15-5-1). Glenn Gawdin and Conner Chaulk rounded out the offence.

Logan Thompson made 38 saves for Brandon as Logan Flodell stopped 29-of-36 shots for Swift Current. …
