THE trial of a family accused of living a 'five-star' lifestyle on the back of 'dirty money' has collapsed.

The jury in the case of Thomas Campbell, Coleen Campbell, Lynn Campbell, and Theresa Bowden has been discharged after one of the defendants fell ill. Now the case has been re-listed for next year.

During the trial the defendants were accused of living a 'high life' of five star travel and luxury cars using 'dirty money' from the sale of cocaine.

Married couple Thomas and Coleen Campbell, both 33, are alleged to have spent 'extravagantly' using the proceeds of criminality, holidaying in Cancun and purchasing cars.

Thomas Campbell's mother Lynn Campbell, 59, and Coleen Campbell's mother Theresa Bowden, also 59, were also in the dock, also accused of money laundering between 2009 and 2016. …
