Las Vegas police say the gunman who killed dozens of people at a concert last month fired more than 11-hundred rounds during the rampage. Reporter Alex Stone says officials report about 200 rounds were fired into a hotel hallway at a security guard and the rest out the window at concert goers below. ("..and killed himself.") NAT110 - (Beaver-Tail-Blogger) CALGARY. x-07s. A trademark flap over an iconic Canadian deep-fried pastry has reached a sweet conclusion. Calgary food writer Julie Van Rosendaal (van ROSE-ehn-dahl) posted a recipe to her blog around Canada Day last year for a homemade version of BeaverTails. The company complained and she changed the name to Beaver Doughnuts. But then a few days ago she heard again from the BeaverTails lawyers, who said having the name beaver in her recipe's title was confusing. Van Rosendaal's followers on social media were outraged and the company has since apologized and pledged to donate up to 25-hundred dollars to the Calgary Food Bank.
