A Thanksgiving football game is a long-held tradition, whether it's watching the game on the big screen or tossing the pigskin in the backyard after a drumstick or two.

Beyond the holiday, the season continues to heat up as the temperatures drop, as local and professional teams progress from playoffs to championships. There's something to be said for watching a game in-person, chilly air numbing toes and fingers curled around a thermos of hot chocolate.
