William Shatner says he would like an Ontario condo developer to make a donation to his charity to settle a dispute over the use of his name and image to promote a condo in Hamilton. The issue arose last week when the Montreal-born actor objected to the use of his name and likeness to help promote a million-dollar penthouse. Shatner is asking developer Brad Lamb for a "nice big donation" instead of litigation. This is Shatner as Captain Kirk from the intro to the T-V show "Star Trek." NAT079 - (Police-Down-Syndrome-Girl) TORONTO. x-06s. Two Toronto police officers have pleaded guilty to misconduct after they were recorded mocking a 29-year-old woman with Down syndrome. The officers entered their pleas before a disciplinary hearing packed with people supporting Francie Munoz, who was the target of the comments. The Munoz family's lawyer says they are now focusing on their human rights complaint in the hopes it will have a more significant impact than the police tribunal. …
