Bryan Cranston's 'Network' on Pg London Tour

The Post-Gazette's annual Critic's Choice London Theater Tour, March 4-11, features new stage versions of famous movies, staged in quintessentially English theater spaces.

The trip features three plays and enough time to see up to a half-dozen more. Included are:

* "Fanny & Alexander," starring Penelope Wilton ("Downton Abbey") and Michael Pennington, a new, large-cast adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's film, at the Old Vic Theatre.

* "Witness for the Prosecution," originally a play by Agatha Christie, now on stage again at London's magnificent County Hall, a space that will remind you of the courtroom in the 1957 film.

* "Network," starring Bryan Cranston, adapted by Lee Hall ("Billy Elliot") from the Paddy Chayefsky film, staged at the National Theatre.

Only 24 spaces are available, and at the moment we have only 15 precious tickets to "Network," but we're pursuing more. …
