NEWARK – Top-six forwards Taylor Hall, Marcus Johansson and Kyle Palmieri all remained out of the Devils' lineup on Friday night against the Stars.

But all three could be back on Monday night when the Devils face the Ducks at Prudential Center.

Hall (right knee contusion), Johansson (ankle bruise) and Palmieri (broken right foot) all skated on Friday morning at The Rock and, for Hall and Johansson, it marked their first time back on ice since getting hurt.

Palmieri and Johansson remain on injured reserve, though both are eligible to be activated in time for Monday's game.

"I think things are progressing well," Devils coach John Hynes said. "I think the way the schedule works out, hopefully they get another day [on the ice] tomorrow and then Sunday and we'll see where they're at for Monday."

Hall, the Devils' leading scorer with 11 goals and 20 assists, missed his second game on Friday after a knee-to-knee hit in the third period of Tuesday's 5-1 win over the visiting Kings. …
