TERRACE. x-20s. A 40-year-old British Columbia man admits to being overwhelmed about being named to a list of 20 people honoured for bravery by the U-S-based Carnegie Hero Fund Commission. James Giles saved two children in his northwestern B-C city when their house caught fire and they were trapped. He repeatedly ran into the house to rescue the little girl and boy in October 2016. Giles has since joined the Terrace volunteer fire department but says his favourite part of the job does not involve running into burning buildings.
