NBA: Harden Hits 51 Again, but Rockets Are Upset

Article excerpt

Austin Rivers scored a career-high 36 points including six 3-pointers, and the Los Angeles Clippers withstood James Harden's second straight 51-point performance to upset the host Houston Rockets 128-118 on Friday night.

Former Rocket Lou Williams had 32 points off the bench and DeAndre Jordan had 15 points, 20 rebounds and two blocks.

This game lacked much of the intrigue it could have had with the Rockets' Chris Paul sitting out in the first meeting with his former team because of a groin injury.
