NAT118 - (OLY-IOC-Russian-Doping) UNDATED. x-11s. Canada is about to get it's first Olympic medal in luge. The Canadian relay team will gain a bronze from the 2014 Sochi Olympics, an upgrade that's a result of Russian athletes being stripped of medals over doping allegations. Sam Edney, Alex Gough (GOFF'), Justin Snith and Tristan Walker were on the Canadian team the finished fourth in Sochi. While happy with the news, Luge Canada high-performance director Walter Corey says the group is focused on the 2018 Games, which get underway in Pyeongchang, South Korea, on February 9th.
