ROY Hodgson is expecting Wilfried Zaha to leave for a bigger club.

The 25-year-old has impressed on a return to Crystal Palace after a move to United in 2013 failed to work out.

The Premier League side have climbed up the table under their new manager after sacking Frank De Boer four games into the season - and Zaha has been at the heart of their revival.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have all been linked with a move for the forward and he has also been mooted as an alternative to Alexis Sanchez for City.

Hodgson is determined to keep hold of Zaha for as long as possible but does not realistically believe they can keep the big clubs at bay if the star continues to shine.

"Speculation is what it is. The only time I will ever get interested in a situation is if the chairman comes to me and says that there is a situation the club has to deal with," he said. …
