Tragedy of 'Passionate' Young Biker

THE family of a biker who died after a collision on Christmas Day have paid tribute to a 'passionate' young man 'who had the world at his feet.' .

Cole Porter, 21, was riding a white Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle along Moss Lane, Partington, on December 25, when the crash happened.

A blue Peugeot 206 was travelling along Hardwick Road at around 1.45pm when it was involved in a collision with the Yamaha bike at the junction with Moss Lane.

Cole was taken to hospital following the smash, where he died a short time later.

The driver of the Peugeot stayed at the scene and no arrests have been made.

Cole's family have described him as a 'loving son, a caring brother and a loyal friend.' .

A statement, released through Greater Manchester Police, said: "He was passionate and driven, with the world at his feet. …
