SALFORD CITY will hope to put last week's disappointment behind them and gain revenge when they host FC UNITED on Monday.

It was FC United who claimed festive bragging rights against their local rivals Salford when they picked up a 3-2 victory at Broadhurst Park.

Salford had taken the lead in the game, but FC United came from behind to earn the win, and move up to 13th place in the process.

Salford remain top of the table despite the loss, six points clear of second placed Harrogate, but they'll now hope to get back to winning ways in Monday's match.

STOCKPORT COUNTY will try to remain in contention for the play-off places when they make the trip to North Street to face Alfreton Town.

The Hatters moved up to ninth place after defeating Alfreton 1-0 at Edgeley Park last week, with Kallum Mantack getting the only goal of the game. …
