GABRIEL Jesus is set to be sidelined for up to two months after suffering a knee injury in Manchester City's goalless draw with Crystal Palace.

But City are hopeful a late injury scare for Kevin de Bruyne is not as serious as first feared.

Jesus left the pitch in tears in the first half after falling awkwardly. It led to unconfirmed concerns he had suffered suspected medial ligament damage.

Afterwards Pep Guardiola said: "Gabriel Jesus is injured, he will be out for maybe one month of two months."

De Bruyne was the victim of a reckless challenge from Jason Puncheon in the closing stages that prompted worrying scenes as the Belgian writhed in agony and was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher.

He was later seen being helped around the pitch - but appeared to be moving with minimal discomfort before claiming he was "okay. …
