CITY dropped points for only the second time in the Premier League this season - but it isn't necessarily a bad thing.

That is according to Blues defender Kyle Walker, who feels the goalless draw could bring his side back down to earth.

City missed the opportunity to equal a European top-flight winning record with a below-par display against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Ederson proved to be the hero as he saved an injury-time penalty from Luka Milivojevic to deny the Eagles a late winner after the Blues had failed to breakdown a resilient Palace side.

And although Walker was disappointed to see the winning run halted, he is looking forward to the fresh challenge of regaining momentum in the New Year.

"We set such high standards and have not got the win, but full credit to the lads for the standards we set," Walker told the official club website. …
