PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Adam Mascherin scored his fourth goal of the game in overtime to lift the Kitchener Rangers past the Peterborough Petes 5-4 on Monday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Kole Sherwood added a power-play goal for the Rangers (24-11-2) and Luke Richardson turned aside 28 shots.

Nick Isaacson, Logan DeNoble, Nikita Korostelev and Matthew Timms supplied the offence for Peterborough (16-18-3). Dylan Wells made 35 saves in defeat.

Kitchener went 1-for-2 on the power play and the Petes were scoreless on four attempts.
