TEANECK – An Englewood man and a Haledon man are facing drug charges after being stopped in the township's Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over holiday crackdown.

Anthony Adams, 32, and Ohmarie Chambers, 38, were arrested on Dec. 30 after Teaneck officer James Lynch clocked their Nissan Altima traveling 74 mph in a 50-mph zone on Route 4 East near Queen Anne Road, Chief Glenn O'Reilly said in a prepared statement.

Lynch said he detected a strong odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle and found Adams in possession of suspected marijuana and cocaine and Chambers in possession of more than $6,000 cash, bundled in a way consistent with street-level drug dealing, according to O'Reilly.

Inside the vehicle, Lynch said he found 13 vape cartridges containing tetrahydrocannabinol, which is commonly called THC, according to O'Reilly. …
