NAT047 - (Wayward-Eagle) KAMLOOPS, B.C. x-16s. The Fawcett Family Wildlife Health Centre in Kamloops, B-C, rescues about two dozen eagles every year, but staff are never sure where they originally came from. Animal care supervisor Adrienne Clay says for the first time, a recently rescued golden eagle was wearing a G-P-S tracker for a research project. Clay says her staff were able to learn the bird was from Alaska and less than a year old. ("..the study.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)

TAG: Clay says the Alaskan researchers are likely to pay a visit to the eagle while it recovers in Kamloops. She expects that it'll be released this spring once it's regained its strength.
