THERE are some things money can't buy.

City have stormed to a massive 15-point lead in the Premier League in record-breaking fashion this season. However, their remarkable run of form isn't solely down to their power in the transfer market, according to Harry Kane. While City spent £220m in the summer transfer window, accusations they have 'bought success' are incorrect says the Tottenham ace.

Just under half of the total - £95m - was spent on Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva, players who because of injury and selection haven't been major influences yet.

City's spending should be looked at in a broader picture, according to Kane who points out the Blues spent similarly last season. Instead, it is their progress under Pep Guardiola which has made the difference. …
