Officers Issue Residents with Questionnaires about Family

NEIGHBOURS of a woman suspected of murdering her father have been issued with questionnaires from detectives asking them what they know of the family.

Human remains, believed to be those of a man, were recovered from the garden of a property at Matlock Road on Tuesday night.

Investigators have been conducting door-to-door enquiries on the street at the centre of the case - asking locals what they know of the 'death of Kenneth Coombes'.

Official police questionnaires have been posted through doors to be filled in as evidence.

The documents - titled 'house to house questionnaire' - say Mr Coombes would have been aged in his late 80s in 2005.

They also confirm that he lived at the house on Matlock Road where human remains were found.

Residents have been asked a series of questions in the documents, believed to be designed so police can build up an accurate picture of life on the quiet suburban road more than ten years ago. …
