More Than 150 Jobs Up for Grabs at Gateway Arch

A newly renovated Gateway Arch will mean more than 150 mostly seasonal jobs to handle expected visitor demand.

Agencies are looking for people to fill roles such as tour guides, sales associates in the store, National Park Service security guards and a full-time ticket sales supervisor.

The positions are being offered by the National Park Service, Bi-State Development, Gateway Arch Park Foundation and Jefferson National Parks Association, according to a news release Wednesday.

Half of the jobs are through Bi-State and will be seasonal. They include tour guides on the Tram Ride to the Top, as well as ticket-sales and call-center agents. Each of those positions pays $11.30 an hour.

The Park Foundation operates the Arch Store, the Old Courthouse Gift Shop and Archie's Shaved Ice on the riverfront, and is seeking 40 seasonal workers at $11 an hour. …
