PR04 - (CRIME-Sentence-Delayed)

KAMLOOPS, B.C. x-06s. The mother of a University of Calgary student who pleaded guilty to sexual interference of a 13-year-old girl says the attention the case has garnered has been tough on her family. Connor Neurauter (ner-AHT'-er) was sentenced earlier this month to 90 days jail time. But the judge allowed him to serve all but one day of his sentence starting May 4. There has been a swell of outrage, including from the victim's mother, that Neurauter will be able to finish off his school year before going to jail. His mother, Susan Neurauter, says he's been asked to stay off campus.
