Morley Makes Appearance as Higham Says Farewell to Centurions

FORMER Salford captain Adrian Morley will be one of the guests of honour at Leigh's 'Battle of the Borough' friendly with Wigan this weekend, helping to celebrate the career of close friend Micky Higham.

Morley and Warrington Wolves skipper Chris Hill will both be in attendance as Higham brings down the curtain on a long and successful playing career which has seen him make more than 500 senior appearances.

The hooker's last competitive Centurions appearance was in the Million Pound Game defeat to Catalans Dragons in September, but he will once again lead his hometown club in this warm-up fixture against one of his former employers.

Higham began his career at Leigh in 1999, before moving onto St Helens, Wigan and Warrington, as well as representing Great Britain and England four times each. …
