RED DEER, Alberta. x-08s. After 44 years in Edmonton the Canadian Finals Rodeo is riding off into the sunset to a new home Red Deer. The City of Red Deer put in a bid to move the event south in December. Terry Cooke, president of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association, says the move will spur the economy of the Red Deer area for years to come. He says the city has been great to deal with.
